It seems that the adult generation of America disagrees with their juvenile counterparts. In the grown-up world, rap is nothing more than an industry of obscenities, misogyny, and thugs from the ghetto. During every generation, some old-fashioned, ill-humored people have become frightened by the sight of kids having a good time and have attacked the source of their pleasure. An example of this is the 1950's and rock 'n' roll. In a contrasting opinion, the youth of America, overall, seems to accept the hip-hop world.
