I first knew Kristīne in the autumn of 2006 when we both came to study in the Faculty of Modern Languages, at the University of Latvia. She is 20 years old yet already has a grown – up personality, which she has proved with her diligent work during the studies. I got to know her well because our group consists of only 15 people, so the teacher and students come to know one another in a way that is seldom, if ever, possible in large lecture courses. Working together with her, led me to a conclusion that she is a hard-working person as well as she has shown that she is an excellent team worker – always helpful, sympathetic and wiling to find compromises. …
