By 1495, Leonardo believed he had a full understanding of the nature of the human body, and its relation to art.
Leonardo was undisputedly one of the greatest minds of the Renaissance time period. He was a painter, sculptor, inventor, and dreamer ("Web Museum" 1). The ideas that he came up with, were centuries ahead of his time. His talents and ideas still dazzle the minds of people today. This is why Leonardo was the greatest artist of the Renaissance period.
