Almost for a year I had been attracting teasing and sneering from my friends, since I was taking so long to get my driving license. Finally, I picked it up and passed the driving exam.
At that same day I was already driving my parent’s car. I was singing along the radio, while suddenly I heard a siren behind me and saw red and blue lights flashing in the review mirror. I pulled over and tried to calm down, so I could cope with that situation.
A police officer came up to me and asked the classic question: “Miss, do you know how fast you were driving?” Then I realized that I was driving faster than allowed, indeed! I was just too excited about driving a car all by myself. Than the officer said with a straight face “Sorry, but I will have to take your driving license away.”…
