Conclusion
To sum up, both Nike, Inc and Adidas AG created brands dominate the sporting goods industry throughout the modern area, but all this time they have been entangled in an incessant battle. Both offers the same - branded footwear, apparel and accessories. Who wins? Financially, Nike, Inc turnover and profit is much higher than Adidas AG. As of 2018, Nike, Inc annual revenue was $34.4 billion, while Adidas AG - 21,92 billion euro .
A pparently it would seem that Nike is absolutely crushing Adidas. But the German sportswear giant’s rise hasn’t gone unnoticed by the market - Adidas’s deal with Kanye West has been steadily rocketing them to the top. Adidas even snatched up Houston Rockets star
James Harden with a $200 million USD endorsement deal, by this challenging Nike in a space that they’ve dominated for a long time: basketball. What is more, from the beginning of 2019 year to recently, Adidas has dominated by capturing 11.3 percent of the U.S. market share. That’s about double what it had last year. It is true that their growth is unprecedented, but it still has a long way to go to catch Nike who sits firmly at the top.…
