There should not be intolerance against other people just based on where they were born, and I think our country is going the right direction in terms of racial equality.
In conclusions, there were slight similarities with Latvia and the book, but overall, the classism and racism is much worse in the book, but it shows that the reality in other parts of the world is much different than here in Europe.
