Charlotte Bronte : first novel (The Professior) was rejected by every publisher in England, disliked working as governess, wanted to be a painter.
Emily Bronte : was brilliant pianist, she was very shy, Emily was writing a follow up to Wuthering Heights, it is not known whether the work in progress was destroyed by Emily herself, or by Charlotte after Emily's death.
