Separate But Equal
The movie Separate But Equal portrayed the struggle against racial prejudice, which ignited the famous US Supreme Court case of Brown vs. Board of Education. This case was arguably the most influential case of the twentieth century as it called for the desegregation of elementary schools across the United States. The prosecuting attorney, and the protagonist in the movie was Thurgood Marshall, the famous black lawyer who was played by Sidney Poitier. Through strong actors such as Poitier, the movie was very well done. …
