Erasmus Application Letter

Pieteikuma vēstule ERASMUS Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to apply for the Erasmus student exchange programme. I would like to spend next semester of my study year at the University of Groningen. Currently, I am 1st year student of the University of Latvia, at the study programme of Psychology. I would honour the opportunity if you accepted me for the Erasmus programme, because it will mean a lot to me and my future career prospective. It would definitely be an efficient and successful method to improve my English and Psychology competencies. Psychology is my passion and the University of Groningen has a great reputation in the field. The reasons for choosing the University of Groningen are as follows: • To improve my English language; • To get familiar with Dutch culture and customs; • To improve my knowledge in Psychology; • To enhance my chances to find a better employment, as I will get a truly multicultural experience. Living, studying and having fun within international scholars would broaden my horizons and enable me to build strong social network with people through our continent.
