There are no simple apps where you can learn Latvian because Latvian is a language
that isn’t spoken by many people.
On the Duolingo app there will be an option to learn Latvian. It will include
all the same features as other languages starting with simple words and
phrases. There would be specific avatars with Latvian traditional costumes
(e.g. girl in a traditional costume with two braids and a flower crown) and a
special costume for Duolingo with an oak leaf crown for Jāņi. There would
be localized person names, for example, Jānis, Līga, Anna etc., and place
names or cities like Rīga, Rēzekne, Ventspils etc.
