Guderian, Gen. Heinz. Panzer Leader. New York: DaCapo Press, 1996. Panzer Leader is a remarkable look into the mind of one of the most influential architects of the Blitzkrieg. Guderian, though sometimes a bit self-promoting, recorded a clear and easily understood account of the rearmament of the Whermacht in the years prior to WWII; and also provides insight to the tactics and strategies borrowed from the British and utilized by the Blitzkrieg. Also, Guderian gives his personal thoughts on F. M. Rommel and his abilities as a commander.
Halder, Col.Gen. Franz. The Halder Diaries: The Private War Journal of Colonel General Franz Halder. Boulder, Colorado: Westview Press, 1976. This work is a genuine look into the German General Staff as written by Field Marshal Franz Halder. This journal is an important piece of historical literature because of Halder's detainment by the Gestapo for resistance of the nazi's and attempt to overthrow Hitler. Also, Halder reveals the logistical support and orders being sent to Rommel when serving as Commander of the 7th Panzer Division during the Spring Offensive through Belgium.
