Abstract: This paper clearly covers system life cycle phases from problem formation through requirements analysis, design and implementation by using more widespread object-oriented methods. In this paper are discussed some main features of the: Demeter kernel method, Shlaer-Mellor Method, Booch’s Object-Oriented Design & Application, Rumbaugh’s Object Modeling Technique and Unified Modeling Language.
Key Words: analysis, class, design, diagram, implementation, object.
1 Introduction
Identifiable object-oriented modeling languages began to appear between mid-1970 and the late 1980s as various methodologists experimented with different approaches to object-oriented analysis, design and implementation. The number of identified modeling languages increased from less than 10 to more than 50 during the period between 1989-1994. A survey carried out in the USA in January 1994 indicated that only about 3 percent of information technology organizations were using object technology but predicted the percentage would grow to approximately 40 percent by 1997, and 80 percent by 2001 [1]. Owing to increasing the popularity of object-oriented modeling, was appeared necessity to systematize and generalize basic conception of widespread object-oriented techniques.…
