Nowadays Genetically modified foods (GM food) are well known all over the world, because people have been eating such kind of food and making researches to know – if it is healthy or unhealthy. Scientists have not proved that GM food is injurious to health, but the vast majority of society thinks that this food is harmful to health. Crop genetically modified food means crop plants created for human consumption using the latest molecular biology techniques. GM foods produced by genetic engineering have been available since the 1990s.
