On the one hand entrepreneurship is not developed yet in Latvia, but on the other hand, people in Latvia are mostly educated, know more languages, than average europeans, so in perspective Latvia can be one of the leading EU countries by the number of entrepreneurs.
On the whole, situation is not so bad, our taxes are not higher than in Europe, but I would strongly recommend that Latvian government should protect and support entrepreneurs and motivate people to run their own businesses, providing them with necessary information at least.
