Song and Dance festival always takes place in Riga but the first president of Latvia – Jānis Čakste organised it in Jelgava in 1895. That makes our city special not just for me but for all Latvians.
To sum up Latvia is a great country and everyone who lives here should know that. I truly appreciate the ability to see all of this beauty every day and to know our pleasing language. It is unbelievable how this small country can make our lives the best.
