Exposition
Rising action
Jean heard a part of two women conversation – Blond and Dark.
Jean is looking at great variety of products with which are filled trolleys of the buyers. She has only a small wire basket with ten items, but still has to wait in queue.
She hears the conversation, but tries to think about her products and decide if she needs small salad cream or large.
Women are talking about ex-boyfriend of Dark, who begged to take him back. Jean becomes a little nervous, listening to it. Should she change the salad for the larger size?
Jean looks at the cashier who is doing her plain job; at a couple, in which the man is standing and waiting for the pen to sign the cheque, but a woman is packing heavy purchase.
Jean see a book with the title Cooking for One. Her recalls her friend (ex-boyfriend) and their shopping trips when they were together. They were rushing, their trolley was full, she was firing questions at him... It was performance, but now she is out of this soap-opera.…
