Some of European Union’s institutions represent the general European interest, for example, European Commission. Still, there are also ones where interests of each member state are represented. Council of Ministers (The Council of the European Union) is certainly one of those in which the particular interests of each member state are brought to bear. The Council of the European Union is the principal decision-making institution of the European Union and it is no miracle that in most information sources it is written that Council of Ministers is the most powerful of the Community’s organs.
