There have been many predictions of the future and what life will be like in the 21st century. It is difficult to make comparisons with the past or to grasp the day-to-day impact that the rapid rate of change has on our social structure, economy, health, and environment. Nevertheless, as we wait on the threshold of change I will express some thoughts about where I believe world is headed in the time to come.
