History
1837 – Was established a saddle shop of Thierry Hermes.
1914 – Company obtained rights to use zipper.
1920 – Hermes made a zippering golf jacket for the Prince of Wales.
1922- was introduced the first leather handbag.
1937 – Was established a scarf factory in Lyon.
1946 – Hermes started to produce silk ties.
1949 – Was produced the first perfume (Eau d’Hemes).
1956 - A Photo of Grace Kelly carrying the Hermes bag was published in “Life”.
