Summary
I have read a chapter entitled “Distortion in dreams” from book “The Interpretation of dreams” by Sigmund Freud. The text tells about dream explanations. It deals with comparison of dreams and nightmares. Chapter underlines the fact that all dreams can not be wish-fulfillments. The text points out, that different dreams can be easily compatible in consideration of dream content. Freud also mentions the fact, that people often lightly adopt the dream content without analyzing it, because they rely on their emotions and intuition, which is wrong. In this chapter are analyzed two S. Freud’s dreams of his personal experience.…
