In this paper I will discuss the Communicative Language Teaching Method (CLTM). I will give the theoretical overview of the method and discuss my own experience as a language learner.
First I will give a short description of the method focusing on both advantages and disadvantages of the method. In the second part I will describe my own experience as a language learner in CLTM class.
According to Bushra (2003) “This method aims at developing procedures for the teaching of the four skills that acknowledge the interdependence of language and communication”.
In order to provide a short insight into the CLTM, I will discuss the advantages and the disadvantages of the method.
According to Nica (undated:435) in the language learning “the focus has shifted from teacher-centred classes to student-centred classes”. Thus the main criterion according to which one can judge about success or failure of the lesson is either a satisfied or a dissatisfied student.…
