Clamps lock the rabbit's head into place. Clips keep the eyelids open. A researcher releases a drop of oven cleaner into unblinking eyes, then records what happens to the eye over a period of time. The substance could cause the animal's eyelids to swell, it's eyes to bleed, and cause it to possibly become blind. Maybe it will just snap its neck trying to escape. The end result will be a product label that warns people to avoid eye contact with this oven cleaner. Believe it or not, this testing goes on everyday and is a common form of testing for several products. …
