The theme of the research: Anti – utopias according to Anthony Burgess
In XXI century political, social and cultural causes led to the rebirth of the anti – utopias – from the phenomenon of the mass culture “The Matrix” by the Wachowski brothers to the Russian writer’s Vladimir Sorokin’s novel “Oprichnik’s day”. As a result there is a huge growth of interest about this genre. But the fact that anti-utopias are not classified, as for example, fiction is (Sci-fi, Fantasy, etc.) creates problems in researching and comparing anti-utopias. In this research the structural model of the development of the society, created in A.Burgess’s novel «The Wanting Seed»will be used to create a working system to classify anti-utopias

Hypothesis: The structural model of the development of the society, created in A.Burgess’s novel «The Wanting Seed»can be used as a base for the creation of the classification system of anti – utopias.

The tasks:
to investigate the meaning of the term “anti - utopia”
to read the novels “Brave new world”, “Clockwork orange”, “1984”, “The wanting seed”
to analyze the structure of social order, relation systems in previously mentioned novels
