In the late summer of 1942 an estimated 1.8 million Jews had been killed by
the Germans and 300,000 of the 500,000 Jews jammed in the Warsaw ghetto had
been deported to a small villages where Germans set up death camps. What if all of
this could have been prevented? Prevented by one man by the name of Jan Karski,
a liason officers of the Polish underground who infiltarted both the Warsawr Ghetto
and a German concentration camp. He made one of the first eye witness accounts
of the Holocaust to a most desbilieving west. What if people had believed him?
