Latvijas Balzams PLC is the leading producer of alcoholic beverages in the Baltic States. It has tradition-rich history since 1900. Latvijas Balzams PLC is one of the largest tax payers in Latvia. Currently Latvijas Balzams PLC has 52 branded stores in Latvia.

History:

1900 – The inception of Latvijas Balzams PLC.
1914 – Start of World War I. Interruption for a period of trading alcoholic drinks.
1918 – After recovery of Latvia (independence) factory opened again.
1960 – Start of producing products for export.
1970 – The company gets its present name – Latvijas Balzams.
1991 – Opens the first Latvijas Balzams PLC shop
