In conclusion, I can say that as far I see it, there is no definite answer as to how to avoid fear of death and the inevitable. I managed to take a closer look at only a small segment of philosophy and religion. To make any kind of statements based on facts, the differences between philosophy and religion should be researched and compared. As to my own view, the book by Ferry L. encouraged me to seek the reasons for my fear and come to the understanding as to why I have developed it. I must admit that my perception of the inevitable and life as such is based on a mixture of certain aspects of philosophy. I am not convinced enough to admit my beliefs to a certain god or to completely be in favour of a certain way of thinking. I have things that I perceive as true, and thoughts that help ease my fears, and though it has not helped me find the answers to some of the questions I ask myself, it has helped me accept life as it is.…
