5. Conclusions
The research question for this essay has been: To what extent have investments
made to Latvia from the European Union during 2013-2017 affected Latvia's development of the agricultural sector and Economic growth?
After the information has been presented, it is noticeable that, investments made by
the EU, in the time period of 2013-2017, towards the agricultural sector, have had an
impact upon the sector and promoted Economic growth in Latvia.
However, there were limitations in the investigation of the impact of EU funds upon the agricultural sector of Latvia. This was because, as the EU funds devoted to this sector are widely scattered across various firms, it was difficult to determine how much the firms have used this funding, and how much potential growth is available. Nonetheless, this limitation could be overcome, by analysing the firm total output as a whole, however the remaining land that would has potential to be cultivated for the agricultural sector remains unknown.
The agricultural sector of Latvia has received funding by the EU, which, in turn, has resulted in the increase of production of products created by firms in the agricultural sector.…
