Conclusion
With More than five different types of evidence, it is safe to say that my hypothesis was right. The Capilano valley was indeed glaciated for millions of years. I used photos from the area to verify my findings, and combined them with my former geography knowledge to proof my statement.
It is important to know that this valley has been glaciated to further understand the environmental processes of our world in general and of British Columbia in particular.
In order to prove this hypothesis I knew that I would need to collect a significant amount of data. Although the evidence was easy to find, confirming it was quite hard.
It is important to add that during my research, I discovered another interesting aspect of the Capilano valley - That it is also a fault line. The steep sides of the lower parts of the valley are actually part of a "crack in the earth", and are not part of the "U" shaped form.
The Capilano river flows through a fault line in a "U" shaped valley.
