Throughout "Diana Queen of Hearts", Cerasini has used dominant arguments to foreground Princess Diana, thus marginalising the Royal Family and Prince Charles. It was stated in the book that during Diana and Charles's courtship, she barely managed to keep the press at bay. She found it extremely hard and contacted the press office at Buckingham Palace for further advice. However, they told her that she was on her own as far as dealing with the press as she was not a member of the royal family.
