If the 1920's represented the "Great Party" then the 1930's represented the "Great Mess." This sentence represents the boom bust era and the Depression era. The 1920's was called the boom bust era or the roaring twenties because it was a time of joy and the 1930's was called the Depression because it was the years where Canada was in its depression. To further more educate you about this topic I will discuss Canada's Economics, Social life and politics of the 1920's & 1930's.
Economics in the 1920's & 1930's were very different. After the post war recession, Canada's economy appeared to boom in the 1920's. New inventions were made such as the traffic signal, penicillin, television, the first car, the snowmobile, and the two most important of them all, the radio and Electric stove. The radio altered everyone's life by providing exciting entertainment that was available to not just the rich people but it also to the people who were poor too could purchase a radio for cheaper prices. …
