Permeation of Islam in Everyday Life

Middle Eastern society is constantly being affected by Islam. Not a person goes a day without Islam being brought to mind through prayer; nor does a person go a day without abiding by, or being aware of the laws that surround them, and that were based on the Koran; nor does a person go a day without flipping on the news, and hearing about the wars with Christian nations, quite possibly because of the infractions of the ideals in the Koran, sometimes leading to important exchange of intellectual knowledge, sometimes just leading to strife. Whenever anyone hears the imam calling all Muslims to prayer, it is because of Islam's affect on society. Whenever a child is punished for disrespecting their parents, it is because of Islam's affect on society. Whenever someone has surgery preformed on them, it is because of Islam's affect on society. Whenever someone complains about high taxation because of a wartime economy, it is because of Islam's affect on society. Islam is a constant part of Middle Eastern society, which it shaped in the past, and continues to shape in the present.…
