Causes of the American Revolution

The American Revolution changed the history of the United States of America. There were many causes and effects of the American Revolution. It also caused many revolutions also, there was the French Revolution and the Spanish Revolution.
One cause of the American Revolution was the Boston Tea Party. Parliament passed the Tea act (taxing tea),but when the tea began to arrive in November 1773, several colonial port cities refused to let the ships dock in their harbors.
