Chemistry between Gaga and Cooper is of the charts. It doesn’t feel like acting, they really do seem in love. It feels like one of those films where the cameras capture real events. In regards to issues it is mostly with the timing of this film. There are some major character moments that do feel rushed. One scene in particular that involves a ring at a dinner table. There's other moments where time has past but you don't really realize it, it doesn't seem that it did because the narrative is not flowing that good. There are little characteristics like that which could be given a little more emotion to.
Some of the best music in a movie I have heard in a long time. Music itself was a rave of emotions and there is no surprise that they won a Best Original Song award. ''A Star Is Born'' is a beautifully crafted movie with powerful and tragic depiction of not simply the life, glamor, fun and fame of music stardom, but also of a life riddled with addictions and self-destructive behaviours. I recommend it to everyone who is in a mood for a dramatic love story.
