Artist Comparison:Renoir and Judd

Auguste Renoir used Impressionism in his art. He made paintings of river resorts in Paris and painted people. He would make paintings that captured generalities in nature and people. He had an extensive collection of paintings made. I liked the painting Oarsmen at Chatou. It made me feel like I was there, as if I had visited that place before and the painting was just reminding me. In addition, I like the colors used. Pierre only used five different colors on his palette. As a porcelain painter, he had learned how to combine complimentary colors.
