"Bugs in the soup!" – Latvian students unpleasantly surprised in school canteen

On a Friday in October, students of a secondary school in Latvia were horrified to find nasty weevils in several plates of soup during lunchtime, reports the media.
One of the pupils, who chose to eat soup for lunch and noticed the insects, said that it was actually his friend who spotted them first. "I also looked at the person sitting next to me – they too had a bug in their plate. All four of us had them. I didn't want to eat no more, I had no appetite. I even wanted to throw up a little bit," he said.
