COVID-19 is a new disease that can affect lungs and airways. It is caused by a virus called coronavirus.
Coronavirus disease COVID-19 starts with drops from an infected person's cough, sneezing or breathing. They may be in the air or on the surface are touching before touching eyes, nose or mouth. This allows the virus to enter the mucous membranes of throat. Within 14 days, immune system may respond with early symptoms such as a sore throat, fever or dry cough.
COVID-19 is a new coronavirus that causes severe hypoxic respiratory failure about 5% cases.
