Fame is Undesirable

Fame can be defined as process when someone is known and admired by a lot of people. But is the fame desirable or undesirable? What kind of advantages and disadvantages it has ?
It is undoubtedly true what people who are famous is more easier to get what they want and what they need because people know them and are more softhearted to famous persons.
