Biblical Scripture teaches that it was necessary for the sinless Christ to die on the cross
for humankind’s sins in order to accomplish redemption through the shedding of His blood and
that His death was voluntary, vicarious, substitutionary, propitiatory and redemptive. Jesus
Christ’s sacrificial death was fully sufficient in order to satisfy the Holy God’s wrath for man’s
sins that would never be paid off without Christ’s sacrificial death (John 10:15; Rom 3:24-25;
5:8; 1 Peter 2:24).12
Therefore, salvation is wholly of God by His grace on the basis of Christ’s atoning death
on the cross and is not on the basis of human merit or works (John 1:12; Eph1:4-7; 2:8-10; 1 Pet.
1:18-19). Because of Christ’s death, the believing sinner is freed from the eternal punishment of
God. God declares the redeemed sinner righteous and adopted into God’s family (Rom 3:25; 5:8-
9; 2 Cor. 5:14-15; 1 Peter 2:24; 3:18).
So, will you come? Will you put aside your misleading religion, and by God’s invitation,
will you repent from your sins and embrace Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord?
Today is the day when God freely offers His salvation through faith in Christ alone; tomorrow
may not come. Respond immediately to His call.…
