A. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
In this project we will examine the potential of exporting IFANTIS' traditional Greek village sausage to the Czech Republic. Most eastern European countries have their own village sausages, so what distinguishes our product from the others is its unique recipe, which includes origan and leek.
IFANTIS Company, established in 1979, has achieved in a short period of time to be included within the biggest delicatessen and meat-product companies. The company can produce 20,000 tons of meat products per year, with a variety of more than 150 codes of different products, covering all consumers' needs in delicatessen products.
The country we examine is the Czech Republic, which as other Central European countries emerging from the Soviet era, is entering the final stage of its post-Communist industry restructuring. Moving through enormous changes, taking place in a still unsaturated market, Czech Republic offers major opportunities for foreign companies.
Factors of the macro and microenvironment, such as the overall economy, culture, infrastructure, geography, demographics, competition etc., are analysed in depth in order to reach our final conclusion, which is to export in the Czech Republic.
