According to the scenario of the movie seen in the class, the story begins with an episode of men crossing the waters of Africa swirling full of hungry wild crocodiles. Considering the danger that is right before the eyes of a group led by John Rowlands (as he was named in childhood), the crowd is scattered leaving the food and the rest of the stuff for the wild beasts as a consolation. Yet encouraged by the great purpose, the men are gathered again to continue the journey to look for Dr. Rev. David Livingstone. This courage was kept burning by John Rowlands, a reporter of the “New York Herald” who later on changed his name to Henry Morton Stanley. He with the group had travelled for two years being aware that each day could easily be the last one in their lives when facing the harsh reality of Africa.…
