The sources used will be mainstream, widely available and presented to a larger number of individuals, thus the information contained will be less specific. Aimed at an audience with a larger interest spectrum, the media sources will incorporate a larger amount of information. Presented faster, in less detail and as often as possible thus creating a fake sense of importance in the audiences perception. A lower socio economic class audience will be more likely to accept the information packages presented to the by the mainstream media, spread the information through word of mouth and increasing awareness. This in turn will increase the sales, usage or demand for the particular services and/or products being backed up by the media. In short, the higher socio economic class audience will be less subjective towards the mainstream media influences due to a higher awareness of the socio economic situation.
