Conclusion
The tobacco companies are spending millions on advertising for their product that is leading to an increase in the number of smokers. To reduce the number of people dying from cigarettes, the government should ban advertisements of cigarette ads, make cigarettes more expensive and introduce more smoke free roads by making smoke rooms everywhere, so that the people can smoke there instead of public places. There should be an improved package warning and health information in every pack of cigarette. If someone has to smoke, let him or her smoke ultra low tar cigarettes, they are harmful but not as much as the others. Withdrawal can be bad, but long-term smoking is worse. It has irreversible effects on our health such as increase in blood pressure; dull taste and senses, visual impairment and loss, bone mineral loss, cancer risk, reduced stamina and wrinkled skin. Long term smoking can also lead to fatal heart attacks, strokes, emphysema and cancer. Tobacco can cause more damage than all the other addictive drugs put together. Besides this there is also a chance of fire in forests and houses and the people around us. Some people think that the filter is filtering the smoke, but the effect of the filter is minimal. It is best to quit smoking, but the best solution by far is not to even start smoking! I definitely stand for the ban of smoking but it might lead to introduction of cigarettes in black markets.
