It is the responsibility for the trade contractor to read and understand all items included in the tender documents. They are also responsible for receiving and reading all addenda.
Prime contactors must follow procedures very similar to trade contractors. The prime contactors must inform any and all trade contractors of his or her intention to bid on a project. The prime contractor must submit a subcontract with his or her valid bid on a particular project, unless the prime contactor intends to complete all work for the project him or herself.
