There is a French proverb, that says: ”Embarras de choix” or “Embarras de richesse”. In English this means ‘difficulties connected with excessive choice and exuberance’. In the modern society, in the era of shopping centers and supermarkets these notions can not surprise anyone (if you are not from the jungle, of course), but it was not always like this...
Think of people’s life in the Stone Age: everybody lived in tribes and even in the same caves; everybody ate the same food for days, everybody dressed the same way etc. But people wanted more – they wanted better life, they wanted ‘differences and diversity’. And thus began the evolution process...
And take a look at the modern society: everybody is different one from another; there is a great diversity of tastes.…
