So many similarities and few differences link the Han dynasty and the Roman empire. These similarities include: religion, both believing that their rulers were human gods; the world community, wanting to take over the world and unite; propaganda, using ideas from Daoist, Confucian and Legalist beliefs to win the support of many different people; military and defense, having many weaknesses when it comes to defending themselves, but conquering much land expanding their control. They also include: rule, being autocratic and believing in dictatorships and monarchies; and lastly, showing authority and greatness of the rulers by using stone inscriptions, referring to them as godlike, coinage, and palaces and monuments dedicated to them. Overall, these two civilizations were very powerful, civilized and ahead of their time. If combined together, the Roman and Han civilizations would still be pulling strong today with their strong, wise views, ideas and customs.…
