Introduction
Philip Schuyler Achievement Academy is a public elementary school in Albany County, serving predominantly low-income students and their families. The school seeks to create a positive, child-centered learning environment that sets high standards for achievement and success, as well as provide the family members of the students with the support and resources they need to assist their children in their educational endeavors. The collaboration of staff, families and communities pursues the goal of fostering a nurturing and enriching atmosphere that will produce life-long learners and involved, respectful, and responsible citizens.
The Philip Schuyler Achievement Academy serves the children and families, racial and ethnic minorities, students are at-risk of low achievement and low self-esteem, dropping out because of lack of success, students with autism spectrum disorders.…
