Conclusions
The aim of this work was to analyse booking process in “Fontain hotel”, in Latvia. To make this analysis we based our work on website www.fontain.lv. There is no such thing as the ‘perfect’ hotel booking process – only booking processes that are better aligned to the needs of different marketplaces and different groups of users.
Fontains booking process in very simple, based on B2C system. To reserve a room in this hotel, customer needs to check available rooms and choose the one which would be the most suitable for his taste and wishes. For cumstomers without experience it may cause some difficulties, because oportunities and choices are made in matrix method. Customer needs to consider following things to find best way- how many days and in which period customer wants to stay in hotel- either all week, or Sunday-Thursday or just weekend. Also season makes difference- Summer Season from 1 May 2010-14 Oct 2010Winter Season from 15 Oct 2009-30 April 2010. Depending on budget also is possible to choose many variations of riim style. For example :
1. Family Apartment (Kitchen, Living Room, Laundry, max 7 people)
Prices: 65Ls 1, 35Ls 2, 40Ls 3
No 20 Fontaine Family House
2. Student Rooms (Shared Bathroom)
Prices: 15Ls 1, 10Ls 2, 12Ls 3
No 16 School Boys Room (2 single beds)
No 17 School Girls Room (2 single beds)
No 21 Student Lovers Room (1 double bed)
At the end, when customer is ready to book a hotel room, the very last, but not the least thing is to decide wether to pay for breakfest or not. It’s not included in price, so depending on desires, customer can choose service.
