In both countries soft drinks (also called as non-alcholic) are used a lot. Soft drinks can be divided into groups-still(not fizzy) or sparkling(fizzy or carbonated). Popular still drinks are mineral water and fruit juices( especially apple, orange or pineapple) that are available in both countries.
In Britain the most popular sparkling drinks is Coke or Diet Coke. In Latvia we can buy Pepsi or Coca-Cola these are similar to Coke Another very popular drink is Ginger beer, this is not alchokolic drink , despite the sound of the names. Sometimes people who are with you may try to encourage you to drink alcohol, to have more or stronger drinks than you want.Try not to feel pressure to follow others - your friends and colleagues should respect your right to make your own choices.[7]
In addition, if someone offer you to drink more stronger drinks that you want, try to refuse it. Your true friends will respect you. Alchokol is very dangerous to your health, safe yourself and people around you.

CONCLUSION
The British cuisine has many common with Latvian:
1. Honey was the only sweetener that people used 100 years ago
2. Cereals, potatoes are used a lot in both countries
3. Tea with milk, lemon and sugar are drunk whenever you want.
4. The choice of tea is great
5. Junk food such as hamburger, cheeseburger, chips and coca-cola are available
6. McDonald can be found in the biggest cities of the country
7. People like to eat deep fried fish
8. Popular drinks-cider, beer.
