4. Conclusion
After reading literature about English significance, conducting an interview and survey and analyzing job advertisements conclusions can be made. A lot of information has been gathered and analyzed and research methods have been used to understand how significant is the English language in finding a job in Latvia.
It can be said with confidence that the English language’s significance is rapidly increasing. In most job advertisements it is listed as a requirement and many people agree that it is very important. It is one of the main determining factors for getting a job, employers would rather hire a candidate with good English skills.
The English language is needed in many work spheres but if it will be needed in a specific job is determined by the company. For most of Latvia’s population English is needed in their jobs and studies. But the English language is significant in much more life’s situations than just finding a job. Many of the survey's respondents claimed that with the English language’s knowledge gotten in high schools is not enough to have a career. This statement should be a motivator to every student in Latvia.
The hypothesis has been proven true, English language significance is rising in Latvia. Every new generation will need English even more. …
