We anticipate scheduling our clients to minimize travel time and maximize service revenues in order to cover our transportation and other operating costs.
In conclusion, our service provides advantages for the pet and benefits for the pet owner. The pet receives the love, care, and personal attention while the owner is away. And the pet owner is not inconvenienced by having to transport the pet. The owner is secure in the knowledge that while he or she is away the pet is in capable and caring hands and his tail is wagging! We feel that this is a business opportunity because it is a unique combination of a few existing pet care services and has relatively low start-up costs. Due to the low start-up costs, we would have the ability to do a "trial run" if we chose. This "trial run" could be similar to that suggested in our class discussions about Case 1 - Steve's Olympic Tees. We feel that it would be personally satisfying to the three of us to provide a service that is so needed by dog owners!
